1 Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost, read by Urgelt
2 White Man Falling, Bk 2 ch 3, read by Helen Swan
Swami’s wife is keen to marry off their eldest daughter Jodhi. The engagement was blighted but Swami’s elevated status has revived prospects. Jodhi and Mohan had a chaperoned date at the cinema, but Jodhi’s sister Leela lets slip she thinks Jodhi is ‘liking some other boy’.
Swami is in the mountains with his daughter Kamala, his stay paid for by local businessman, DDR, who like others has become a believer in Swami’s status as the new guru ‘swamiji’. He has a visit from a young Mullaipuram policeman, Apu, hysterically remorsful for killing Swami. Now Swami’s colleague Murugesan visits, also trying to tell Swami something. Finally, we hear what really happened to the white man, who died at Swami’s feet, at the beginning of this story.
