Yes, it's already February, and yes, I'm still looking back at all the music from last year. But music can't be "dated" - wouldn't you agree? I've said that many times before, so let us practice what we preach. Today I am very happy to share with you a selection of favourite pieces from 2022 as curated by Brian Housman of Stationary Travels. We've been partnering in spreading our honest words about honest music for many years now, and I'm very happy that Brian still cracks on [that's a new British phrase that I've picked up here in London]. In a way, we keep each other going, sharing our very special finds, making sure we don't go too far off the path of being real to our cause versus turning into just "influencers"- do you know what I mean? Please enjoy this gorgeous mix and support the featured artists!

So many new favorites, thank you! 💙

I often see mixes that have Excellent music but no tracklist anywhere, so no way to discover or support new artists at all. Why would anyone listen to those mixes? Maybe people don't care, I am not sure but music is an art form that benefits from its provenance both for the artist and the listener. IMHO. Otherwise it is just orphaned sound, lost and found

Jp Boudreau

May I ask why often there are no tracklists in many mixes. Is it a issue with the Mixcloud app or another

Stationary Travels

It has become a feature they now offer with their premium and channel subscriptions. But the info is usually just a click away. HC is especially good about this.

Thank you ST. Much appreciated. I can't seem to enjoy listening to fine music without knowing its provenance.

Jp Boudreau

Goes without saying mixcloud isn't tracking in their app.

Jp Boudreau

Might there be a tracklist to accompany this fine mix, to better follow and support the artists?
