If, like me, you initially snickered at the title of this mix, in hopes that it conveyed a large gaseous emission, fear not for your own immaturity (as my own), for in fact, in German, Ueberfahrt means passage, crossing, and transit -- words we are too familiar when applying music to our lives, and lives to our existence. By filling one of our sensory inputs with sound, which our minds use to interpret our experience with the external world, we are that much closer to the absolute state of nothingness where inner truth exists. It is during those moments when we are truly tourists, fully comprehending our short-lived ueberfahrt.
