This week, my guest is the brill Colin Robertson.
Colin became fascinated with the classic Hammer House Horror films at a very early age, and this led on to his love of horror fiction, with a particular passion for the works of Ramsey Campbell, HP Lovecraft, Brian Lumley, Clive Barker and Stephen King. His first published fiction was for a UK Punk band called Walk the Plank, and was a four-part short story which was included as part of a four-single vinyl release. The link between his writing and music has continued in Arrive Alive, with the novel literally providing a soundtrack for the reader.
I’ll be talking to Colin about Arrive Alive, and about all things horror and creative writing. And, of course, he’ll be sharing his selections for this week’s Apocalypse Books.
