How's everyone's doing!?
I wanna start by thanking all of u who listen to #Episodes weekly. It's so nice to see people listening from different parts of the world. That's great. So yeah, Thank u all very much.

Now in the last two shows I was in the Olympic State of Mind. I'm sad it's over. I was actually in London on the last day of the Games and saw the fireworks above the stadium. Choppers in the air. What a vibe (& what a crazy closingceremony that was! Don't get me started.)

So, as life goes on, we just continue to share great soul, jazz, funk & world tunes. Playing u some timeless tracks by Stanley Cowell, Azymuth, Archie Shepp & Mongo Santamaria this week. I'm talking to 2 members of the South African band FreshlyGround about the first record they ever bought (Stevie & Ella) & of course their favorite tunes.
