Fruitful Radio Show 17th Sept 2011

Playing tracks by

Shuya Okino, The Jimmy Caster Bunch, Brass construction, Philip and Lloyd, Million Dollar Disco and more.

A fresh instalment of the Fruitful Radio Show is here folks. This session features some up to date Disco action from Shuya Okino, Million Dollar Disco and Todd Terje (spot that sample!). Some classic funk biscuits from The Jimmy Caster Bunch and Brass Construction. We unearth the original riff that The White Stripes used for Seven Nation Army in the form of Philip and Lloyd's "Keep On Moving". Some 4x4 Jazz Funk goodness from Nebraska and a deep space work out from Flavio Diners (on a green vinyl 10" no less!) We round things up with a couple of covers of huge tunes - Speak Low take on Thriller and Count Basie gives Eleanor Rigby a swinging make over. Thanks for listening people and until we meet again - stay Fruitful.
