This show was 23rd in the global garage chart, 23rd in the global vinyl only chart and 52nd in the global reggae chart.
The plan was to do nothing but reading the lates james Ellroy and playing Star Wars/Lego with my friends' kids, but sometimes, when mount teide (and our half of the island) was hidden under heavy clouds and the force was a bit too strong with my 2 young apprentices, I escaped to Santa Cruz, where, internet rumors promised at least 2 record stores. I found them, and one of them sucked, but the other one, Aguacate Soul, was nice enough for two of them. They let me browse through their 2nd hand stock deep into their saturday siensta, so I came back later to check the rest ... here's the harvest, spanish yeye pop, some guitars,, lots of reggae and some fine african tunes. i guess the selection reflects my general vibe that week, so i share it with you while spring awakens ...
