Serendipity with Sykora on composer Jimmy McHugh, originally broadcast on Radio Clyde.

After a whistle-stop intro featuring Macs in world music, Ken settles in America on McHugh - Jimmy McHugh. One of the most prolific and successful composers from the 20s - 50s, he was much in demand from both Broadway and Hollywood. His most successful collaboration was with lyricist Dorothy Fields. Best known songs include 'I Can't Give You Anything but Love', 'On the Sunny Side of the Street' and 'I'm in the Mood for Love'.

As always, even if your not familiar with the name, you can be sure you'll still be entertained!
