Broadcast 15 - 30th September 2018 | Mix - Hotel Neon

Chart positions

This show was 8th in the global experimental ambient chart, 53rd in the global electronic chart and 59th in the global ambient chart.

Hotel Neon consists of Michael Tasselmyer, Andrew Tasselmyer and Steven Kemner; currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Their florid assemblage of heavy static, fragile strings, gossamer loops & drones have not only seduced some of the most forward-thinking record labels going - Fluid Audio; Home Normal; Polar Seas; Archives - but their landmark albums (Remnants, 2016; Context, 2017) have ingratiated them with followers the world over. Their music can devastate you one minute and then break your heart the next; it chokes you, then rescues you. This is what makes them so exciting, both on record and, if you're lucky enough to catch them, playing live.

Hotel Neon's album 'Means of Knowing' is available now from the label, Archives. You can also catch them on tour throughout October 2018 with Benoît Pioulard and Marcus Fischer.
