I am really interested to know what the song is that plays at about 15 minutes from the end. It sounds a bit like Demolition Man on the vocals and the song appears to start with a lovely piece of cello music. Words, I could hear were Pinocchio. And the phrase : "I believe in love" . It's always a shame when a good song doesn't have a clear name , sung in the chorus or something.
The cello bit is in the middle of Durban Poison (Bladerunner Remix) by Babylon Timewarp but the vocal bit is from Who Start Di Revolution (Mooncat & Dubtime Jungle Mix) by South Yard

Ah , well . Your shows in my opinion are The Best . I imagine if you took your show to the stage they might charge £20 on the door that night or even more !
Thanks man :) I'm pretty much retired from all that these days (turned down a few festival slots this year). It's really just for fun for me these days.
Good to know your history as well... I started DJing during the original house/hip hop era in the UK but I only started doing it more seriously once techno started kicking in. DJ'd a lot of raves and squat parties etc. (never really did the club scene). I got a lot of time for Goldie/Grooverider etc. they really changed the game. Other names from back then are LTJ Bukem, Congo Natty, love them all :)
big ups bro and thanks for the continued support, I do appreciate it :) respect
I mean, just a few recordings of stuff broadcast on London's pirate radio , would be like gold dust in some boring and culture starved places like South Devon. I think I got like £6 for a Rave CD in South Devon and in Plymouth it was free or just £1 probably.
Thanks DJ Embryo . Yes, I downloaded the Mixcloud application again to see your track list. Yes, I found that track by guesswork, just before you said. I have been a Rave and Drum and Bass fan , for a long time since when drum and Bass started to appear through DJ Rap, Gouldie. Grooverider and possibly also Mickey Finn. Before which , I was into Happy Hardcore. I never knew which tracks were being played unfortunately. There was a record shop in Plymouth called Bigga Records which sold Drum and Bass a while back. But mainly on Vinyl. I think maybe I bought DJ Hype , Ganja Recordings there maybe and a few CD mixes , but did not have time to properly listen . My music interest network has been quite patchy since school days, when there was more opportunity to network or have a variety of friends. I used to get tapes off friends in school and made sure I returned them quickly. It's really exciting to see track lists published online now by you and also Boy George does that as well. Boy George, infamous for a rocky and exciting private life and the Karma Camelian song . Visited Plymouth once and his DJ set was outstanding. I knew he was playing because I accidentally walked into the DJ booth as I was exploring the Old Theatre that was Dance Academy. I walked into the DJ Booth. Saw Boy George who was like "Do come in ?" But I lost my confidence and shut the door quietly with feelings of Unworthiness ! I have been watching a History of Drum and Bass documentary on The Red Bull Music Academy on YouTube which is great . There is interviews with Gouldie, and Fabio , who I recognised from the 90s and there was an interview with DJ Storm a female DJ. Sounds like Grooverider really was a Key Figure in the development of the Drum and Bass scene , as it sounds like Goldie used to follow him around the record shop probably trying to find out, where he found such beautiful music from ! The big air horns used in Legends of Dark Black kind of genre sound a lot like Didgerydoo. I noticed a magazine called Computer Music did an issue called The Producer Masterclass which details how Producers use silence in a track. That's all I know , except that I had ablation for a while and got frustrated, about not being able to record into it . Venjent is very similar to Mikey Love in the way he builds up a piece of music. I remember a very excited person telling me, back in the 90s about a musician who created a rave song using car horns ! Venjent seems to work in a similar way. And, at last , I am starting to see the point of being near London. As an artist, or just a fun loving human it sound tremendously exciting to be absorbing all that Arts and culture. I am sure it might sell really well.
@robertlfarr1 Holla me I'll send you a copy!
Oggie Oggie ! Oi-oy-oi ! (Pasty Pasty ? Yo hi hello !) . Hello there ! I am Rob Farr . Who are you an' what's this thing you sending me ? I would certainly appreciate something sent . Thanks , if you want me email it's robert.laurence.farr@gmail.com . I not quite mastered the privacy involved in the internet . Yet, I was thinking about a real life stage name of DJ 40Pence ! Yeah, here we are again . I am eagerly awaiting the next show as , I have tuned in a few times and it's been a learning experience. I was toying with the idea of mixing modern Hip Hop with Classics like . Beethovan's 5th. Fur Elise and of course the memorably titled : Air of a G String .
Now this is a proper Show bro. 3 hrs of Pure Embryo 🔥. Always at the top of my list of Fav Djs
