The Lost Gardens 21 – Liquid Drum and Bass Mix

The Lost Gardens 21 – Liquid Drum and Bass Mix

Playing tracks by

Rameses B, Seba, Fishy & Dan Guidance, Twintone, Jay Dubz and more.

Chart positions

This show was 6th in the global drum n bass chart, 8th in the global drum and bass chart, 9th in the global liquid drum and bass chart, 9th in the global dnb chart and 16th in the global drum & bass chart.

These sessions are coming together really nicely at the moment so I think it’s a good idea to keep them coming ☺ There were definitely a couple of bits I wasn’t happy with but the session is still filled with quality tracks from Seba, Fishy, Twintone, Jay Dubz, Alexvnder, Bert H, Joshua and more ☺ as always, big respect to everyone who listens, favourites, reposts and comments – it’s hugely appreciated :)

Great smooth set Jimmy as always, providing some of the smoothest sets on Mixcloud that's for sure - that closing track Two Minutes to Midnight is pure quality - saving that for a piano breaks set for sure, amazing track. Keep up the quality content mate, always like stealing a few tracks from each of your sets 😁

Jimmy Ralph

Wow, thanks Slim! That's a huge compliment mate, much appreciated and so glad you keep enjoying these sessions :) Two Minutes to Midnight is a quality track, look forward to hearing it again soon in a Piano Breaks session! Have a nice weekend :)

Such a stunnin' session Jimmy. You really know how to work those liquid harmonics well... Such a pleasure listening to this on the way to work earlier today, especially with those two classic Seba drops near start 🙏🏻😌🎶🎶🎶 Its quite overwhelming how much music I've missed since taking a break from MC! Hope to be able to catch up with some of your previous sets once I get settled on here again :) Nothing but respectz for this series bro ;) Thank you for the vibez!

Nice one Jimmy loving your silky smooth mixing the blends are all i ever dream of in a mix, quality tunes and great flow just what the doctor ordered!! massive respect to you!!

i feel your pain Jimmy i hate it when i go wrong to not that i have heard anything in your mix yet, it seems to me your a perfectionist too, i have beaten myself up silly at times, mixing live and getting it right all the way through is a challenge in it self, keep at it Jimmy your a quality DJ with a great ear.

mixing in key is probably the best way to get a great flow with the track selection i can hear you mix in key to, it's nice to have a couple of B's thrown in with the A's however it does sometimes clash, i usually stick with all A's and plan A1 to A12 if i can, i use flow 8 for my key order as i find my software i use with my controller don't match flow 8's order and i have found the mix end result is not as good. i also use my ears to find similar track beats the order seems to go better to. i hope some of this helps you if your not already mixing and planning in this way. respect to you!!

my bad i just googled flow 8 and it came up with other things, i use (mixed in key flow 8 software) for planning and preparing.

nice one Jimmy i really enjoyed this mix!!

Jimmy Ralph

Thanks for stopping by Tel, really appreciate the feedback! Will certainly keep these coming, having a lot of fun putting these together at the moment :) I really enjoy playing around and seeing which tracks work well with other ones, when I have enough songs I'll hit record! It's still early days as I had such a long break away from mixing so hopefully there will be a gradual improvement with future sessions as there has been a lot of new stuff to get used to from when I stopped all those years ago!

Another fresh Lost Gardens Set has landed so soon?!!! Wow Jimmy - you're certainly spoiling us with this frequency of stunning mixes - loving it mate! Half way through this one and so far I'm thoroughly enjoying these floaty & atmospheric chilled vibes - perfect work once again! :)

Jimmy Ralph

Got to strike while the iron's hot Johnny! (think that's the phrase..) things are flowing nicely at the moment so thought I should keep up the momentum :) hope you enjoyed the rest of the session mate, thanks for stopping by and for the wicked comments as always :)

DJ Falcustone

This program is not perfect just because perfection is not attainable, but if we pursue perfection, we can achieve excellence, with the mixing skill you definitely made it. Enjoyed the selection too.

Jimmy Ralph

Lovely comment from you Falc, thanks my friend :)
