The Lemon Circus

Johnny Hartman & John Coltrane and the Ahmad Jamal tracks sumptuous :) some real nice ballads. Some melodic music from the vaults Duke Ellington. New Ghosts was very different :) Up the tempo towards the end Off Minor a very excited track that needed stroking and holding to calm itself down, but it eventually settled. A touch of class to end the classy show Dr J :)

Peace Power I thought you may have played your wild card early and the rest would be trying to compete but as usual just a strong opener to get our attention and then you show the rest how to do it by playing Snakes which blends so well and slaps us in sobriety that there is no filler on G&M - what was I thinking?

What's that old line..'all killa, no filla :)' Now that we've got your attention, let's go DEEP. Remember, I segue out of a 'Southern Soul' program that ends at 3PM locally. So, we want to try and engage Noel's listeners and keep them 'locked' on 96.9; just an old radio ploy. Too bad, Noel's Music Satisfaction show isn't on Mixcloud; it's a wild, spontaneous trip for 3 hours from noon till 3 - people here would love it. BTW, it IS streamed live at whyr.org every Saturday.
