It's nice to know I'm not 'howling at the moon'.:) Thanks for listening and glad you enjoyed the show. Cheers, DrJ

What a lovely show; Sweet Pea, The Lion and Phil Woods, thanks Doc!

Oh, and Happy Holidays!

Our pleasure, Simon. Quality first, here. And I've just gotten hold of a 'partial' Lion discography. While it's incomplete, it gives me clues to finding more of his buried treasure. Happy Holidays to you & yours. And thanks for your support! Best, DrJ

The Groove Point/ Halle Cat

Woods/ ERM 1968...<sigh> will always get a fave from me. BTW, ERM was my intro to Henri Texier and what a wonderful and eclectic career he (and his son Sébastien) have had.

indeed, indeed. Thought you'd appreciate the Woods. Best for the Holiday Season, DrJ

Thanks for listening. Posting a new show every Sunday morning. Cheers, DrJ

The Lemon Circus

Something about nothing another standout track, closing track had a 'last post' feel to it somber and reflective. A very chilled show this week, let's hang onto that mood for the rest of the week Dr J :) stay well

Metaphorically and physically (getting some prime English weather at the moment!). Thanksgiving should be nice though: do Lady J's yard chores, turkey and football....Thanks for listening and your comments. Regards, DrJ

The Lemon Circus

When we are young and stolen moments how come I've not remembered Phil Woods name? Shame on me, but great tracks. and your 100% seal of approval :) agreed! A lovely way to spend an evening has my seal

We just added Phil to our 'all-star' list about 2 years ago, so he hasn't had the exposure of others. Now you'll remember, I think - a stunning performance! Ernestine was a sentimental favorite of many of us here - a voice that stood out in a crowd! Best, DrJ

The Lemon Circus

Tutuman went into an even lower gear, nice! And now piano from the lion - I could put mixcloud in Willie Smiths mouth - no? :D Another gear change - we'll stop soon :) Relaxin at the Touro.

Ha! And the Lion would chew it up, along with his ever-present cigar:) Cheers, DrJ

The Lemon Circus

Mixcloud needs throwing into the lion's mouth - just typed some comments and once it hits the 5 min mark it removes them with a message saying "Why not leave a comment" Grrr! Not that it was an epiphany or a life-changing note just a hat tip to the 132nd into which was breezy and autumnal which goes very well with Epistrophy, audio reds and brown leaves pirouetting in my mind.

For that and more; like EDM on the Jazz Chart - sad........:) If you enter the comments in the show box, rather than the pop-up, that should avoid vanishing comments. That Person track really got a lot of people via all our feedback platforms. You can bet it's headed for a 'hits' show. Cheers, DrJ

Guido's Lounge Café

G&M are the best my friend, great show.. once again.. and we can't stop listening!! Have a great new week :)

Thanks. There's something about those old ones that's really compelling. Cheers, DrJ
