In addition, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Blue Note sessions by Charlie Rouse & Jackie McLean, give you 2 more Red Norvo tracks with Bird & Diz, a bit of Stitt & Lady Day, Eric Dolphy ‘live’ at the Five Spot with Booker Little, and celebrate Horace Silver’s life via his sideman role with the Art Farmer Septet doing tunes from the pen of Quincy Jones and Gigi Gryce.

The Lemon Circus

I kind of missed the grammy nominations - they all sounded fine to me, but I decided to cast a more critical ear on them... Fred Hersch for nothing more than it made me happier than the others :) and I think that should be the only stipulation. Another top show Dr J GET HAPPY!!!

IT was pure excitment Dr Jazz : absolutely enjoyed the phobia of the tune Recorda Me by Conard Hewig ( Lovano ) The brass in this arrangement was well polish and tight : Hey footage that we have never heard What a treat .. much thanks to you and the other programmers : )
