Feels Like a Beat has now shifted focus from club tracks to the underground rave scene. The first show reflecting this change centered on Drum and Bass. I covered tracks that ranged from soft and jazzy to absolutely loud and hard.
In addition, this hour does a brief venture into the world of Dubstep.
This time, as I had just returned from a gig (the Capitol Boogie!), I was able to use my own mixer and needles. The mixes were a lot smoother as a result. The DISadvantage was that it was not very well L-R balanced from track to track. I corrected it in Audacity, so the sound should be nice and centered. The price you pay for a better fader curve (not to mention a non-bleeding CF) and a PFL that works, I guess.
This show was dedicated to my brother, the DnB producer known as al. I'm waiting for YOUR Mixcloud site!
