The 1970’s were a golden era for vinyl records. They were affordable to everybody, and everyone who had a record player. The music equipment gave the pop artist more than the four tracks to work with, therefore the artists’ music became much more experimental. Some of the best rock bands of all time that recorded experimental music were David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Yes and Tangerine Dream amongst others bands. Also the 70s were the golden era, especially for vinyl records where it was affordable for everyone who had a record player. The 70s were also known for fashion, haircuts, bell bottom trousers, platform boots/shoes, shirts with long collars etc.
