DEEP AND DEEPER
Arriving in Canada during the summer of 1992, I stumbled upon Toronto's underground house music, at the legendary '23 Hop' - That Saturday night, elevated by the deep beats echoing through the packed hallways of my first 'warehouse' party, I knew I found my groove. Soonafter, experimenting with digital recording and editing lead to my first mixtape. It was the dawn of Toronto's garage house music and the peak of acid jazz, the rest is history...
I'd like to THANK following DJ crews for years of musical inspiration:
JMK, PTS, Gene King, Aki, Mitch W and Tricky Moriera. My early NYC and Toronto influences: late Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work, TenCity, NickHolder and Jason Palma, lastly both CKLN 88.1 and CIUT 89.5 for all the radio shows and endless track selection.
Many years have passed, yet I'm still involved with this thing called 'house'. In giving my thanks, I hope this mixcloud page will aid in keeping its spirit alive.
