A short one this month as there isn't much new music out of Asia in January. So we've featured the new 7" by Sydney electronic popsters, Ollo, who have in the past been compared to the likes of the Beta Band & Tuung. Also some new acts out of NZ. We're especially fond of Cairo Knife Fight for both their name and taking up the mantle of the now deceased White Stripes and the new persil white Black Keys who I still happen to adore but it's always great to hear some of those rough edges and CNF have plenty of those. New from China this month is the 2nd album by Nanjing's Good Luck Good Bye... great music that brings to mind some of the later Blur albums. Here at Hong Kong Garden we love the fact that they have decided to stay in Nanjing and not seek their fortune in Beijing.
