DYLAN - LIVE AT REFUGE MANCHESTER UK 25TH MAY 06

Playing tracks by

Dylan.

DYLAN Live in Manchester England at Refuge May 25th 2006. Well..I'm proud of this mix, I remember it was real dedicated turn out, Rockin' the fuck out! Everyone just so trashed and going wild on the floor! So i binged drink/drunk and chugged a big handful of beers and got a good vibe on and just dropped killer after killer! I remember just having so many sick tracks to drop at that period, well..When you listen back you will see..All those tracks were brand new, just made and far from being released, Alot even unfinished, And like i said, These tracks were all totally fresh and i hadn't played hardly any of them before at all, Not even practiced! We all drove so far to get there and went in..Destroyed the place and left for the long long ass drive back south! I hope you can feel the vibes of this show from the live mix, That's why i like listening to this, It was Crazy, Going Off & Awesome, Everyone was trashed, wasted, Drunk, or whatever else adults do! NEED TO PLAY MANCHESTER AGAIN!!

That was the only night we put on. Can't believe this was 10 years ago. Dylan and limewax absolutely transformed DNB during this period. Maybe its time we did another one! Up for it Dylan???

This was one of the best nights I went to in Manchester. First time I'd heard a lot of these artists too. This set led to a big stack in my record collection :)

Carl Anderson

Such an amazing set, I was one of the privileged to be at this night. This set blew me away, changed how I viewed drum and bass. Leighton did such a great job on the mic too!

Me (Locutus), John (Lost Cause) and Alex breakbeat put this night on. No one was playing hard dj's on in manc, so we thought fuck it. do it ourselves!!! Big up Dylan and all the Therapy Crew!!!

Good work man :) this night introduced me to this kind of sound, had lots of fun with it for many years. The only other night I can remember that used to play decent hardness was audiosalad, but that was more breakbeat driven stuff. Good times! Seems to be a lot more heavy drum & bass in manc these days which is good.
