Music was a family interest and my father played saxophone and brass instruments in bands through the years in Sydney and he encouraged me to play an instrument from when I was young. I started playing clarinet and saxophone when I was 14 years old and eventually taught myself how to play drums as well. I was involved with the making of a record for the AHS concert Band Big bands at EMI studios playing at the Opera House in Sydney on many occasions.
As DJ seamus I was introduced into the Sydney rave party scene in 1991 and started to learn the art of DJ'ing and produced mixed compilations on the side. During that time I started a company called "Real Nice Audio Productions" and in 1997 myself and a group of friends managed our own events and had a great response from the dance community. Real Nice Audio then operated until 2007 and now we are back. Listen for our "Mixaholic Sessions" releases.
