This week’s message is all about making an indelible mark (I know sounds sleazy but isn’t meant to) on the job at hand and creating something that when people look at it or hear it or watch it know that only you could have produced it, created it and sent it off to conquer the wide world wearing its new uniform and carrying a very squeaky satchel. Welcome to Trudie Trademark - #344 in the series of mixes for Radio FG featuring 11/13 brand new tunes from producers and artists whose distinctive sounds are now firmly as distinguishable as they are distinguished yet are all programmed, blended and laid before you in my unique and irreverent way. Special mention goes out to Nadia Ali and Avicii’s reworking of ‘Rapture’, Steve Aoki and Wynter Gordon’s ‘La Di Da Di’ and Afrojack and Shermanology’s ‘Can’t Stop’ which, tried and tested on air and in club, have each been found to have the most enormous crossover potential. Nine out of ten clubbers said their feet (and hands) preferred them.
