DJ Andy Smith Lockdown tape digitising Vol 17 - Portishead XFM take over 1998

Chart positions

This show was 8th in the global rock chart, 25th in the global jazz chart and 47th in the global hip hop chart.

Well we are all on lockdown so I decided to digitise my personal tape cassette collection!

This is the Portishead XFM take over from 1998 with Geoff Barrow, Adrian Utley & me playing some of our favourite tracks (and me spinning some unused Portishead beats!) live in the XFM studios in London . It all gets a bit rabid (actually a well used 'Portishead' term at the time!) as we had had a few (even Adrian takes a turn on the decks at one point!) - And panic not that it starts with 'Bootie Call' by All Saints - LOL!

Anyway, enjoy!
