Dodgy: Stand Upright In A Cool Station (MRUK Mixtape)

Dodgy: Stand Upright In A Cool Station (MRUK Mixtape)

Here's another of the "collect all the tracks I played in my radio show in the last 7 years" kind. It's Dodgy's turn, in the wake of their great new album, out the 20th of February. This is not a "best of" then, more of a random journey in their 20 years history, with many oddities, BBC sessions (officially released and not), stunning bees, covers, a couple of great tracks from the Nigel-less MKII line-up, a Nigel Clark solo release, a strange Andy Miller's demo, live takes, and 2 from the forthcoming album: the single "What became of you" and the album opener, the masterpiece "Tripped and fell" I edited short in respect of the band (don't want to spoil the waiting for the new release). Nuff to say Dodgy are, since their very beginnings, one of my fave bands ever. It's a long mixtape, almost a C90! and the picture is a re-working of a limited edition compact cassette (!!) available for a few lucky people with the new album. Mighty Dodgy Vibes forever.
