Loved this episode, esp. Funker Vogt, Hatari/ESA remix, Alpha Quadrant,MechanicalMoth-this was a tough song to wrap my head around the beat. Also Korine, MXMS, Boy Epic and Terminal. Liked the themes of all the DJ's and selections.... I heard Graves say that Paradise in German ment tomato so I combined Mark and Tomato and came up with Mater..( picture Mater from the Cars Movie😆😆)
Great sets. I liked what Daniel Graves brought this time. Really good stuff.
I maintain that MXMS is the bigger, more badass version of MIA (if you remember that Paper Planes song from years back).
I love you, Communion After Dark! Thank you for the music.
I love Daniel's incredibly long disclaimer about the term "industrial pop". It's a stark contrast to Sascha Koneitzko who considers himself the father of industrial rock. It's even in the lyrics of the track "Intro": "I am the father of industrial rock. And if you don't believe me, you can suck my Glock"
I like that "Godfire" song a lot... reminds me a bit of prime KMFDM. I've been meaning to take a closer listen to that Terminal album.
So, you're saying Godfire is Godlike?
Yeah, that track could only be improved if Sascha did a cover!
Hey Chris, I agree the track has the older KMFDM vibe. Thank You for Listening!
Follow me into the fire 🖤
American Psycho for the open! 🖤❤🖤
Such a quotable movie -- s' the second time CAD's used a sample from it as a cold opening.
I wonder if they've quoted Real Genius before?
As a matter of fact, yes! They've used Real Genius at least once
I need to find that episode.
Also, my favorite part of that scene is that Paul's played by Jared Leto.

That's rad. Thanks for finding it, though you totally didn't have to. "Guess you'll hammer later."
So, Paradise loves New Order; Maus presumably loves Depeche (Strangelove, right?)...who does Gold love?
Really? I was thinking more like Vogan Poetry...hopefully Gold will clue us in!
Gold?......Gooooold?!
Tomas Tulpe.
Wait! Tomas Tulpe! Ok, Denizen Kane helped me with that one, but I think he is most correct! Thanks DK!
Gold definitely Loves Tomas Tulpe, but his favorite band is Devo.
Ack! I should've remembered!
Like :wumpscut:, Waijdan uses the two colons, like so: :Waijdan: They really remind me heavily of good ol' Suicide Commando -- wonderful harsh -- scary -- electro. And it's got those samples in it that Paradise loves!
