"I always feel undeniable passion for Jazz. I think it is in my blood, my father was the one who showed me that part of the music universe when I was a kid. I do remember that music was playing at our house always, mostly it was jazz, it fascinated me by the sophistication, complexity of the music ideas, transitions and developments. One of my favorite tracks of all times is a 9 minute 11 seconds masterpiece by Charles Mingus named Goodbye Pork Pie Hat recorded live by the very interesting blend of musicians, they called themselves Manhattan Project (Wayne Shorter, Michel Petrucciani, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, Gil Goldstein and Pete Levin).
