Michael, thanks for the input. I understand what you're saying about it being poppy but I put tracks that best represents what I'ld like to play and also what I feel would work great to "opening up" for an event like Ultra. The tracks are mainstream but definitely the progression from track to track builds a stronger and stronger momentum towards deeper tracks which is what I was trying to achieve. Ideally with this type of mixing it gives me the option of which way I want to take my mix with the crowd reaction being my guide. I also agree that I didn't have a lot of tracks but that's because unless I'm mixing hip-hop/rap or Top 40 I feel like house music isn't really meant to be mixed from track to track quickly. Thanks for the input and best of luck to you!
A little poppy for my taste, but the transitions are great and should make for a good set! You use probably the fewest number of tracks out of any I've seen, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
