In this show, Margaret and Kevin discuss the elections in Europe. As a result of austerity measures there, a shift to the left occurred recently in the UK and France and will potentially happen in the upcoming election in Greece. Our first guest, Karl Grossman, a professor at SUNY/College of New York and author of "Rupert Murdoch and the FCC: Unfit to Broadcast" speaks about the recent statement by a panel in the Parliament in the UK calling for media mogul Rupert Murdoch to lose his media license. Our second guest, Kathy Kelly of Voices for Creative Nonviolence joins us from her walk to Chicago for the NATO Summit. Kathy recently visited Afghanistan, as she does regularly. She speaks about the Afghani's view of American troops and reasons for the recent Strategic Partnership Agreement signed by President Obama and President Karzai.
