Chucky T's In Love (Vol 5): Youth Is Wasted On The Young

This is the last of a five-mix set of love songs that spans the entire Baby Boomer experience - from 1946 until just yesterday. "Youth Is Wasted On The Young" is the 'just yesterday' mix of the set. And by that I mean it actually contains music that was recorded in THIS century!

It corresponds to a time in my own life where I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been. I know what I like when making love and the years have taught me what she likes. Surprises are always welcome but usually a delightful meal, a decent wine, some good tunes, and a little dancing are the only prelude we need.

I don't miss the crowded clubs, the overpriced drinks, or the deafening amplified boom-ba-da-boom-ba-da. But I do miss the resilience and the stamina I had as a young man.
