Welcome to the final, two-hour long installment of my deep dive into the alternative music landscape of 1985 as experienced through the lens of Oxford, OH's WOXY 97X. Whether that time and place was truly a pinnacle of the decade (as I've long held) or I was simply at the right age to perceive everything I heard as new and exciting, I hope these mixes have taken you on an enjoyable trip down memory lane (past Eavey’s, Looney T Birds, and SDS Pizza) or given the uninitiated something new to discover.

Thanks again to the First Ones: station owners Doug and Linda Balogh, Steve Stenkin, Dan Reed, Robin Plan, Ken Glidewell, Steve Baker and an army of others down through the decades who kept WOXY vibrant, true to its vision, and globally recognized for its quality; you made a difference and literally changed lives. Thanks also to Craig Froehle for his archive of 97X ephemera, and Jude Hayden.

Viva WOXY!
