A slight change of tack for this episode as we showcase some Drum & Bass predominantly from the record label Hospital records.
Now if you think that D&B is not your cup of tea, bare with me, I can assure you it has come a long way from its hardcore junglistic origins that some might consider too niche for their ears. The sophistication of production, use of melody etc. has repositioned its place within dance music. This podcast is a reflection of that melodic, intellegent side of Drum & Bass that I am attracted to.
The South London record label Hospital was founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss whom had both been working together previously on house music projects.
A majority of the tracks stem from the Sick Music Compilation that was released towards the middle of last year.
