NB when said shame about another tribute I meant shame famous people keep passing away so they are needed on a show like yours! RIP Donna Summer....

Am not a fan of the genre but I love the Doobie Brothers.... Long Train Running is class and good to know this Ukiah track now Guy!

Hi Dave - glad you picked up on that We Are The Brits - interesting song, to say the least, (which is why we played it, of course), and, as I said, perhaps wrapped in the Union Jack :) And thanks for appreciating the timing in the show of Donald Fagen's excellent Walk Between Raindrops. As for Miss Krausse, it's hard to find anyone who can do better than what she and her superb Union Station band have achieved in their genre. My own favourite ballad of hers is Daylight, written by one of the band and adorned with finely timed lyrics and riffs which are exquisitely performed.

Thanks for your feedback, Douglas - tributes are only in passing, and glad you're looking forward to that amazing singing of Andy Williams.

I try not to be unkind, so let's just say I'm "unconvinced" by 'We Are the Brits'. I would, though, give it some points for managing to work in "Penicillin" - not an easy rhyme - and for breathing a bit of life into what can sometimes be a dour National Anthem. The Fagen tune that followed was more to my taste and, sadly, just as topical given current weather in the British Isles. I liked the Alison Krauss song too. Her "'Crazy As Me" is a favourite of mine.

Looking forward to this one Guy! Love Andy Williams a real star! Shame another tribute track though.... Douglas
