AFTERHOURS UNDERGROUND 27 [Strange Brew] Mixed by Buddhafish

Chart positions

This show was 1st in the global minimal techno chart, 2nd in the global deep tech chart, 5th in the global deep chart, 9th in the global deep tech house chart and 11th in the global underground chart.

As we made our way into the small clearing in the forest, our guide had us sit on a blanket in a circle of about 10 other men, all dressed in regular clothes...the shaman acknowledged us and dipped his cup into a large kettle
containing the strange brew made with leaves and crushed vines. After drinking the brew, I sat it seemed for more than an hour waiting for something to happen, when I suddenly felt the need to vomit. After purging, I remember hearing the shaman sing a haunting song while the effects of the brew took over. I felt like I was flying through the forest with the jungle birds, and I spied a large black cat perched in a tree with piercing yellow eyes..I seemed to be enveloped by the sound of drums and music guiding me to something...it was going through my mind, my body, my heart and my soul..

Excellent set my man! Love these sounds that pay tribute to Love, the Spirit and Desire in the realm of these senses and senses unseen in whichever form it takes. Love the thump of your sonic journey through sound. I hope you found out something about yourself in that music and are better for it as I am listening to this mix of underground and deeper version of Techno!

Buddhafish

Hi Kristian, you have such a way of descriptive expression through words that I can only communicate with songs, but it is the same..you are a gifted writer my friend and I love to hear your comments always, you seem to always hit the mark with what I am doing with the music. I appreciate that! Have a great week brother, peace..

track at 10 mins (says it's dixia strong), your mind by sam matters, your track bottom of the garden and that distinctly buddhafish bassline from desire came in (thought it was familiar)... cool stuff man

Buddhafish

Hey Trev, thanks for that! The mashup is the Midnight Perverts remix of Gwen Maze's 'Atonale' and Calm Khor's 'The Vermona at the Bottom of the Garden'..two very different tracks that blended harmoniously with one another. Yeah I really like the DIxia SIrong track, they have some good ones out there..hope you are well my friend, peace and good vibes brutha!
