A.k.a Cookie is a spoken word artist and musician from Birmingham UK. Originally a lyricst for various bands including Birmingham outfit Lobster, Joe has exploded onto the spoken word scene.
Joe's style has been described as 'The Streets meets Joe Strummer'.
In 2015 she was shortlisted for the BBC Young Writers’ Award.
She is now a member of Second City Poets: whose first full length show, Playground, will debut at the Verve Poetry Festival next February.
