Lawrence Perry is a 19 yr old artist based in East LDN. His multimedia practice spans across painting, sculpture, videography & music. Currently studying at the Slade School of Fine Art, Lawrence is building a reputation for himself on the London art scene. Perry’s work digests adulthood and diagnosed with ADHD, mindfully processing his racing mind through his painting. Behind his “scallywag” facade, Perry reveals his thirst for understanding with reels of art history, filmography, literature & politics hiding themselves emblematically in his work. Lawrence works closely with musicians, doing album covers, working w/ Jimothy Lacoste & selling paintings to the likes of Paul Weller.
Best known for his recent painting series in association with The Mental Heath Foundation for Mental Health Awareness Week, “Merely A Dream” focused on the 7 pillars of mental health that have affected Lawrence & his art: Addiction, ADHD, relationships, anxiety, body image, synaesthesia & social media.”
