Manu Barron (the man behind the Social Club in Paris and manager of Das Pop) recently started up a brand new label "Abracada". With releases from The Krays and Ebony Bones- Manu took some time out to tell us about the label and what it means to him...
Hi Manu- how are you today?
I'm fine thanks, tired but fine.
What prompted you to start Abracada?
It's part of a global project, and also a teenage dream.
Abracada is the last (sic) part of the global Savoir Faire project.
Your first release is a collaborated effort from the Krays (Yuksek and Brodinksi) and Ebony Bones- how did this release come about?
It's a 100% natural collaboration, the project came from the artists. Pierre and Louis have been working together for a while, and they had this idea to work on a more funky track. Then Ebony asked them to do a remix of one of her tracks. The idea of a swap came immediatley and Ebony was really excited about this Krays project.
