The concept of this new experience, « Songes Metalliques », is to transform mediums and views throught a series of photographies which ends up by tearing apart perceptions that we may have of this discipline. This reasoning is enforced by a mix of distinct graphic research in which iron, mirror games and lights constitute some of the roots of this exhibition.
Playing with multifaced elements, hard to grasp and made of different materials, lead to other superimpositions of images. For this, Rith Banney doesn’t hesitate to fix; reframe, recut, stick, restick, or to draw… To go even further in this event, Rith Banney has called on artists from
varied backgrounds (writers, musicians, plastic artists, dancers, actors…) in order to offer a lecture clue or a personal interpretation of an artwork.
This exhibition will contain brand new texts written by Pierre Henry (Paris / FR), Lydia Lunch (New-York / USA), Tod Ashley (Firewater – Kolkata / INDIA), Black Sifichi (New-York / USA – ECOSSE
