Dreamcast Blues is unique in the world of college radio. It strives to deliver the best blues you've heard, but also the best blues you haven't. Of particular interest are the more secretive works of otherwise well known artists. Short-lived solo projects, failed albums, expirimental bands, and rare session work is frequently highlighted. While you may be hearing music from well known artists like Eric Clapton, Dusty Hill, Duane Allman, Paul Kossof, Paul Rodgers and J. Geils, it's almost a guarantee you're hearing a song you never knew existed. Also featured are local, New England area artists, like Ricky Russel, Gil Correia, and Thom Enright. Dreamcast Blues also strives to educate and entertain, delivering musical trivia, tidbits and news, with the firm belief that radio remains alive because this is the kind of stuff you don't get from an iPod. If you're a hardcore blues fan, or just discovering the genre, Dreamcast Blues has something for everyone.
