Hairdressing legend John Belfield came into the studio to talk about his exhibition at the Burslem School of Art. Haircut for a Shilling documents John's 50 years in the business, displaying a plethora of styles and trends over the 5 decades. With his daughter Hannah and wife Sue he reminisced about his career, talking about his accolades and awards. He also talked about his part in a Hollywood movie! Marcus Wemyss called into the studio to talk about Picadilly Summer, an arts event which is happening every Saturday in July in the Cultural Quarter of the city centre. Finally Lovebeat came into the studio. Lovebeat are a trio of young female house djs who are coming through the ranks with their night at the Basement bar in Hanley. They talked about their love of house music and the joy they get from djing.
