In 1999, Alexander Payne's Election put the director on the map and created an iconic satire of the American electoral process. In 2016, that satire has not only grown more relevant, but seems to accurately diagnose the debacle of the current presidential race. This week, we look at how reality has changed Election's impact and what it's like to watch the movie for the first time in light of the parallels to the candidates today.
