An exclusive set of curated music, up-cycled beat loops & re-imagined song samples that both inspired and were created based around my recent collection of new works for the 'OFF/GRID' exhibition at David Bloch Gallery, Marrakech. This mix blends percussions and familiar tones derivative of an vintage Arabic and Northern African memory. Moroccan psych freakbeat weaves through minimal up-tempo beats, moody tonal synth intermissions, minimalism and found dialogue poached from varied films reflecting the direction and tone of this exhibition.
These sounds are specially curated, having some direct relation to the artworks, their titles and the overall theme of the exhibition.
