This month on Berlin Calling, we have a double whammy of cultural offerings:
First up is Isabelle Gabrijel who has long been a major force in Berlin's art scene since she moved here from Switzerland a decade ago, with her vibrant pop art and forward-reaching curation of exhibitions at her self titled gallery Galerie Isabelle Gabrijel in Charlottenburg. Since closing the gallery earlier this year, the former architect has been busy plotting new exciting projects so we'll be talking to this Wahlberlinerin about her plans, including the next edition of the cutting edge festival she organises, the art and music extravaganza Schatzalp (Irma & Paul).
Cooking up some fresh, live electronic jams will be Berlin based producer and Greenhouse Berlin resident Hiddenself. Providing a unique blend of live house and techno Hiddenself live sets encapsulate the electronic creativity of the city. This month we got a glimpse of new project Glune, a collaboration between Hiddenself and vocalist Gigii.
