The referee whistles! Kicking off, the venezuelan Simón Díaz; passes to Gil Scott-Heron, who flies past everyone and shoots the ball straight to the goal!, but there was the soul genious goalkeeping skills of Curtis Mayfield. Danish easy-listening Axel Boys Quartet do some fancy footwork and then pass to Julian Lynch, who always knows what to do with the ball in midfield. Right before the end of the first half a taste of "the beautiful game" by Os Cariocas to fire up the game.
Second half and the ball is being passed around by serbian Suba in true brazilian style. PJ Harvey lets England shake as she dribbles past the atlantic to get the ball to the feet of our striker Jorge Ben. He shoots but hits the post! The crowd sings "Errare humanum est". Radiohead take the game deep into the opponents area and it's a GOAL! Referee says no! Its disallowed! James Blake is giving the ref a rap - the "Wilhelms scream". We really gotta go now before things turn nasty. Transmission is over.
