Urban Nerds hit London in 2007, to provide a new home to underground genres spanning garage, 4x4, grime, house, bass, dub-step, drum ‘n’ bass, reggae, electro and beyond and have hosted a wealth of talent, pushing some of the biggest line-ups in the capital with DJ talent that includes Rusko, Zinc, Benga, Goldie, Toddla T, DJ EZ, MJ Cole, Shy FX, Plastician, Doorly and Jack Beats. The Nerds have also promoted ground breaking UK vocalists who’ve since progressed into the national charts, with the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Katy B, Chipmunk, Skepta, Example and JME. Three years down the line and the Nerds can count themselves part of the lucky few to have hosted room 3 at Fabric and room 2 at Matter. They’ve also collaborated with the likes of Mixmag, Time Out and the DMC World DJ Championships and Snowbombing Festival in Austria!
