DIY sprouted forth as a bedroom run set up covering music that excited its authors back in the hazy, simple days of 2002, way before your Nan would have even heard of a social network. Since then it has grown up big and strong, turning from hobby to full time concern, moving to 'trendy' East London (the rent was cheap, none of us own a penny farthing), and setting up our own record label and magazine.
