The Cryan Shames were one of those bands that graced the original Nuggets compilation LP. Beyond their cover of the Searchers "Sugar & Spice", Chicago's Cryan Shames had a great deal more to offer with 3 albums and 9 singles - covering a variety of styles. Their focus in all cases was tight vocal harmonies and great musicianship. Hugely popular in Chicago, they barely made a dent on the pop charts with a few of their singles, but certainly deserved better. Now hear for yourself what the Cryan Shames were truly all about.
