Acid Jazz took up a good chunk of my formative years and consequently forms a good chunk of my music collection. Starting as a record label, it became a genre in it’s own right encompassing a broad spectrum of styles. Funk, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Chill Out, Electronica, House, DnB, Latin – its all there.

A recent delve through my ‘Acid Jazz’ folder reminded me of all this great stuff that I hadn’t listened to for a while and inspired me to do a mix. Of course, there was far too much to choose so I can feel a few mixes coming on..v. To begin, a downtempo mix with a chilled feel. Hope you like it!
