Shane Kingsbury "The Buried King" first tried his hand at DJing during 2010 as an attempt to compete against his friends for the best mashup/remix. This challenge was based on the original Free Virtual Dj software being only valid for 20 days. From this 'click-style' dj software, he continues to practice. However when using a laptop program and being ale to mix with one click at a time, it became hard to excell at mixing digital mixing.
In early 2011 he purchased his first dj controller, the Numark mix deck. Although starting out as a MIDI controllerist he now only plays with cd's and USB's. At first he played only house parties Sydney and its Western Suburbs just to increase his skills.
