Since BELLY OF THE BEAST was born back in 2007 the ethos has been to provide Manchester with nothing but the best in underground dance music.

After our humble beginnings at the now closed down Music Box, the last three years has seen our sound grow and develop into what you hear today. We aim to push the industrial side of techno without losing touch with a passion for top quality house music. The artists that have played for us in recent months reflect this ideology and we will strive to continue providing forward thinking bookings alongside true legends of the scene, old and new.

Not settling just for iconic line ups, we have a strong focus on atmosphere. Currently residing in the Northern Quarter, at the legendary Mint Lounge, we have brought in the talents of EMN Visions to add a concept lighting show, unrivalled by other mid week events.
