Continuing the Butterz themed posts of last week, in the run up to their debut Room Three takeover on Friday 18th February, we're happy to present the second mini mix from the players on the night, in this case, Terror Danjah.
Something of a veteran of the grime scene Terror has be forging his distinct conoction of hyperactive snares and basslines for years, providing beats for Nasty Crew and the Aftershock Camp back in the day and releasing on high profile imprints like Planet Mu and Hyperdub over the last 12 months. His latest album for Hyperdub, Undeniable, showcased 14 tracks that proved how essential he has been for the propulsion of that aggy, umptempo sound, at the same time a skeletal indication of where grime had come from it was an accomplished and polished album that featured people like D Double E, Mz Bratt and regular conspirator D.O.K.
