Sugarlicks New Zealand acts as a hothouse of creative musical minds, inspiring artists & recording them at the valve-sound Sugarlicks studios, to create the assured & deep sound of Pacific electronic soul. Originally established at the famous Khuja Lounge club, Sugarlicks has gone onto release 15 albums and 6 12" vinyl singles Worldwide, with a new release for artist Seva Hifi planned for 2012.
The studio and label are located in the Southern Hemisphere's most culturally diverse city, Auckland, where we work with transcultural artists & producers including Manuel Bundy (Solephonic), Seva Hifi, Nat Rose, Brother J, Solaa, Jah'licious, One Million Dollars and more...
Our distinctive sound is created by the use of analog valve sound equipment, mixed with modern digital ish for that lush warm soul sound.
